Mickey’s decision aligns with his long-term aspirations, combining his passion for football with a focus on personal and professional development. At Cal, he will bring his talent, leadership, and determination to the Golden Bears' defense while working toward his future both on the gridiron and beyond.

Cal’s coaches and program leadership have expressed enthusiasm for Mickey’s arrival, recognizing his potential to make an immediate impact. With the move, Mickey also returns closer to home, creating a new chapter full of promise and opportunity.
